                Biography - Education - Teaching & Lectures - Related Experience - Interests

     Barbara J. Dombach received her Bachelor of Arts from Millersville University, Millersville PA. She has experience spanning over 35 years in Photographic Art and has exhibited in numerous solo shows with accepted images displayed in over 100 group exhibitions.  She has received a Lancaster, PA “City Arts Grant” as well as an “Artist in Residence” at Acadia National Park, ME.  She has taught at Harrisburg Area Community College and workshops at Tyler School of Art, Temple University, and Philadelphia, PA.  She was administrator for Hirtech Camera, Inc., Lancaster, PA. adult education program for nine years while also instructing several workshop programs there.  Her works have been published in Jill Enfield’s “Guide to Photographic Alternative Processes” as well as a featured artist on “the Film Photography Podcast” Oct. 2011, 2013.  She was a 2013 Finalist, Critical Mass (Photolucidia), Portland, OR. and she has also been published in; “Photo Techniques”, “The Hand”, and “Diffusion”, magazines.

              Duties performed:  Sales Associate for amateur and professional Photography Equipment.

                  (Cameras, lighting, films, papers, chemicals darkroom supplies and misc..)

              Additional duties:  Education coordinator; establish photography classes and workshops, hire instructors,

                  review curriculum, advertising, registration and certificate completion.

              Duties performed: Assistant Store Manager in charge of sales and assist Lab operation.
